Selective Prosecution
In a glaring example of racial bias, white prosecutors in Brooklyn (Jonathan Siegel, Gillian Kassner, and Dylan Stern), from the same community as Ben Smith, used his narrative to launch selective prosecutions against Watson and OZY. Despite OZY’s headquarters being in California, this became a Brooklyn prosecution — a strategic and biased decision that questions the very integrity of our legal system.
